The scenario:
Students are to create some publications for a charity dance marathon – dance o’clock. They will create a danceometer quiz to give users their dance and fitness ratings. They will use a database to find dancers with similar results. They will create an invitation, digital posters and some certificates.
The tasks:
- Students will create a danceometer quiz and use it to produce results for themselves and their test buddies.
- They will use a database to students who have already signed up. They will create a data entry form and add new records. They will create some queries / searches and create partners lists (database report or other print publication) from them.
- They will create other publications – invitation, digital posters and certificates.
- Students are expected to create a project plan at the start of the project. This plan should be used to monitor progress throughout the project. They will produce an end-of-project review. All the required evidence should be submitted in an eportfolio.
