The scenario:
Students will choose an audience of their choice and create an imaginary world for them by a kit consisting of 3D characters and digital posters showing the scenery. They will design two characters and suitable backdrop to set the scene.
The tasks:
- Students will create a proposal which will have details of their target audience, theme, purpose, characters and backdrop.
- Students will create some draft designs. The draft designs, draft ideas, design feedback and annotations will be stored in a design log.
- They will gather the assets they need to create the components of the storybook. They will edit the assets to make them suitable for their purpose.
- Students will also create the final products – the characters, backdrop, two scenes digital poster, and packaging.
- Students are expected to create a project plan at the start of the project. This plan should be used to monitor progress throughout the project. They will produce an end-of-project review. All the required evidence should be submitted in a graphic eportfolio.
