Your project plan
For every project, you need to create a project plan. You will be expected to create it at the start of the project.
The assessors and moderators (the people who give you marks) would expect to see the project broken down into main tasks. Main tasks are the key things you will have to do during the project. They then expect the main task to be broken down into subtasks (even smaller tasks). The tasks and subtasks need to be in a logical order. You should show where you will be doing the tasks (home or school).
You also need to allocate realistic times to each of the tasks and subtasks. You should include expected start and finish dates.
Many people forget to include extra time (sometimes called contingency time). In many cases, things don’t go as planned. It is important you put in some extra time (contingency time).
You need to also build in some time when you will get your teacher and other people to review your progress.
Get your teacher to check and agree with your plan before you start the project. |
